I agree that the IMAA team chose relevant case studies to explain the different aspects of an M&A activity. However, the one case study that was inspirational to me was of course the Cadbury case. Although I had heard of hostile takeovers, I did not realize how they could come about. I also did not believe my company’s CFO who noted that we needed to get our financials in order or we would be exposed to a hostile takeover. He was quite stressed. I understand now why due to the example provided.
