Hello Woon, I think the DD aspects that you mentioned like HR, IP, IT and Commercial if not carried out efficiently can have a very negative effect on the chances of a successful Merger or Acquisition. The sociocultural assessment in HR, the ownership of patents (IP), the integration of systems and processes as well as the future forecasts in a commercial DD can become a very costly exercise and effect expected returns post merger.
