Why do you think Polycom was so successful with their early acquisitions? I found that case study interesting — risky yet profitable with almost every acquisition they made. I really didn’t see any real strategic decisions or conversations within the company. Is that a common practice with larger-scale acquisitions? Or small-scale? Or really neither?
