During a hostile acquisition, does PR matter? Assuming that investors are rational, PR should not matter. Public filings should give the investors all the information that they need. But investors are human and humans are not known to be rational. Do you think it matters to pursue a public relations campaign to either oppose an acquisition or promote it?
