    An organized, formal mechanism that is held on a regular basis (i.e. monthly) specifically to review pre-defined objectives and measures of success with management is key. Typically this is held for a year and then re-evaluated depending on how progress or lack thereof is going.

    Clarity, frequent communication, providing managers with a role to play in the post merger integration activities, even at a department or role level will ensure continued attention and interest.
