In my opinion, successful DD is largely dependent on accuracy of data provided by seller. Also, how transparent the seller over the process plays an important role. So, making sure the DD data is not being manipulated is a critical issue or a challenge.

I agree with you. In most cases, it’s not necessarily the availability of data but also timely delivery thereof and how they are integrated into other parts of the M&A deliberations: valuation, definitive agreements, etc
