    Things to consider may include:
    1) Risk Profiling – Examining the target company’s culture assists with compiling a holistic risk profile. Combining this with findings from other functional areas helps to uncover risks that may impact the decision to make an offer.
    2) Leadership Alignment – Assessing how well the leadership teams align culturally is of value as misalignment may lead to integration challenges.
    3) Integration Planning – Understanding the cultural differences in critical areas such as communication, decision making, and performance management informs integration planning and ensures a smoother post-merger integration.
    4) Keeping Culture at the Core – How will cultural elements impact achieving the deal rationale?
