About IMAA’s M&A Certificate Programs

The Institute of Mergers, Acquisitions and Alliances (IMAA) offers three unique M&A certification programs: the International M&A Certificate (IM&A), the Certified M&A Professional (M&AP), and the Certified Post Merger Integration (CPMI). Each certificate is designed to address the individual needs of all career level professionals already working within mergers and acquisitions or looking to break into the industry. Constructed by leading faculty members and M&A experts in a multi-year effort, all of IMAA’s programs are globally oriented to provide a holistic and regional specific approach. In addition, all of the certificates are available online and onsite at one of our training locations.

This program provides insigts into the complete M&A cycle from Strategy, Due Diligence, Valuation to Post Merger Integration as well as Separation and Exits.  It is based on our unique framework and Body of Knowledge of Mergers & Acquisitions which provides a holistic view of the entire M&A process. This program can be taken online or onsite. This program is often attended by corporates and advisers.

M&AP: M&A Professional

Learn from Best Practice in Mergers & Acquisitions

The M&AP is a tailored program designed to meet the needs of auditing, consulting, deal advisory, investment banking, and legal professionals. Gain insights in best partices for the M&A process, valuation, due diligence and also a unique module on Running a Successful M&A Practice. Gaining the M&AP designation signals to employers, colleagues and clients that you invest in being the best M&A professional you can be.

CPMI: Certified Post Merger Integration

Securing and creating value of a deal

The Certified Post Merger Integration Professional (CPMI) is a tailored program to address the needs of advisors, management consultants, change specialists, corporate M&A and integration teams. The program covers all aspect of the post-merger integration process from planning to implementation.
