    Hullo James,

    I am quite sure that the top accounting firms (or their consulting practices or Transaction teams) have a mannual or handbook on due diligence/transactions that could be an interesting soruce of information. There are HR Consulting firms as well that have plenty of material of HR practices in different countries, legals aspects, treatment of expatriates.

    In response to the original question posed, when you don’t have an existing playbook, reverse your integration process. This will give you a framework to begin thinking of the elements/activities to consider when divesting employees. What are some standard offboarding activities you do for employees that are terminating or retiring? This will help you get started. In addition, are any of the employees eligible for any prorated bonus or other incentives based on your STI/LTI plan documents?
