Does your company utilize a formal Lessons Learned process, and if so, what have you found to be the easiest way to identify new opportunities as opposed to seeing the same ideas over and over?

We do indeed have a formal lessons learned review process after every M&A process (either succeeded or failed). All parties involved discuss their input and the central corporate development team tries to take these into account for a next process. And next to this, every involved department tries to improve themselves by these lessons learned. But it stays difficult since every M&A process is almost one of a kind, only major improvements are easy to detect and implement.

Our company will be implementing a formal process in Q4 for this year. Thank you for posting as I will also be interested in the answers within the thread.
