What are some of the key items that are missing in either the corporate strategy or M&A strategy that leads to Failure? I have noticed that not having the right operating model in the corporate strategy has lead to failure in my opinion. The company is not ready to integrate and does not have the right DNA to harvest synergies form the deal. For example, not having shared services can lead to difficulty in integrating the new company.
