when we start with the DD we plan to have external support to share our questions and collect data in a secure data room. Do you have any experience how long I have to plan a) to gather the information and b) to review and “approve” the information by the parent company. Would 2 months be sufficient?
    Thanks for your feedback.

My view is that due diligence should be continuously conducted throughout the acquisition process, at least until the purchase and sale contract are signed and the deal closed.
However, two months generally should be sufficient for confirmatory due diligence prior to purchase and sales contracts.
