I’m interested in finding out how many people work actively on acquisition opportunities. i.e. in mergers you’ve been a part of, how many people had knowledge that a Bidder was preparing a bid / engaging in DD etc.

In my experience, it is the core / essential managers, and as few non-managers as possible.

Please reply with examples including the # of people in this ‘Core Merger Team’ and your organisation size + industry –

e.g. 8 people, 500 employee company, healthcare.
