What defence tactics (when trying to prevent the take-over) do you find the most effective from your personal experience?
Based on my personal experience, it is very important senior leadership team has strong trust and confidence relationship with key shareholders and demonstrates their capability to run/grow the business. It is also important that senior leadership team understands/knows the ‘true’ value of the company, such that they are able to defend the company until the price of independence is exceeded by the shareholder value created by sale.
