    What are your highlights or learnings from section 9 “Dealing with People in PMI”? Or your personal experiences for helpful actions/measures, methods or even tools to manage/engage people in PMI?

    Communication and Empathy are important in dealing with people as it will help to build common ground and allow bonding to form quickly.

    Hello Norah,

    Highlights the reasons for the transactions, the goals and objectives, the benefits and having a two way communication system, vertically and horizontally can improve the chances for successful integration. Being authentic, operating with integrity and aligning the teams can only only improve matters.

    Key takeaways for me include identifying stakeholders, communicating effectively, managing expectations, building relationships and monitor engagement. In terms of tools, I feel the following approaches may be useful – stakeholder analysis, communication plan, stakeholder register, feedback mechanisms.
