Compromises in M&A integration

    What is the biggest challenge you face in an integration? What compromises are acceptable to ensure smooth transition?

    I think that the challenge is on the cultural side, especially when the new (merged) company operates around the globe, and regular meetings in person are nor possible. That requires additional virtual ideas to work on better understanding of the culture in different locations. That would be my compromise idea – if necessary give the culture recognition more time, I strongly believe that it will pay off in the smooth transition of tasks, and further operational merger.
