Prof. Dr. Daniel Graewe, LL.M., studied law and political science at the University of Freiburg and later completed his legal education in Frankfurt, Hamburg, and Lausanne, culminating in his admission to the bar in 2009. He earned his doctorate in corporate governance at the University of Cologne while working with a prominent German law firm.
After completing an LL.M. focused on Japanese law, he practiced corporate and capital markets law at White & Case and CMS, among others. In 2016, he became a full professor of business law at Nordakademie University of Applied Sciences and founded the Institute for Applied Business Law (WIRE), later transferring it to HSBA Hamburg School of Business Administration. In 2024, he opened the Hamburg office of the law firm MARTIUS.
