What are some of the best PMI tactics you’ve used or seen to help ensure merged employees (beyond exec. leadership) stay engaged and develop a sense of belonging such that they want to stay? Especially important when being merged into a much larger organization that may seem a bit (or a lot!) overwhelming and impersonal relative to a smaller, more familial environment they were accustomed to? For example, in addition to the efforts of their new leadership and team, have you assigned dedicated staff to serve as trusted mentors to meet with merged employees periodically (buddy system)? Or, perhaps you’ve implemented a more structured onboarding program over the first 6-12 mos.?
