I agree that the intent to invest in this market depends on (i) the strategy behind the acquisition (ii) the industry (iii) the financial model for the acquisition( debt/ equity purchase) and (iv) is any regulatory approval needed. There is a turn in the market but rather than question if now is a good time to invest, I see the alternate question as how strong is your team, how committed are you to acquiring a target and how well can you negotiate your preferred terms. An ability to close a deal in good time always helps in negotiation.
