In your view, how do you think generative AI can impact M&A activities (particularly in the area of DD) and how M&A practitioners like us can leverage on generative AI to enhance / augment the work we do?
I think the most effective ways of using AI for M&A are pre-DD scoping, legal & contract analysis and post-merger planning. Of course we have a tailored prompt set and teach crucial points over and over again to reach very accelerated document review.
