I’m always on the hunt for book or website recommendations. If anyone has come across anything that is either recent, or specialized (e.g. I’m am just finishing Damodaran’s “The Dark Side of Valuation” at the moment – highly recommend it) that they would like to share – please do so!
From the IB perspective, a classic one is “Investment Banking: Valuation, LBOs, M&A, and IPOs” from Joshua Rosenbaum, Joshua Pearl.
Another one, more comprehensive on the overall M&A process in the middle market, and not only on the IB angle is “Crushing it as a Corporate Buyer in the Middle Marke” by Kevin Tomossonie.
I suggest “Barbarians at the Gate: The Fall of RJR Nabisco” by Bryan Burrough and John Helyar
