In your opinion 7 based on historic transactions, what was the largest M&A transaction that took place within the Saudi Market?
The recent remarkable M&A transaction was between NCB and SAMBA. The acquisition was viewed to compete with the biggest bank in the region, and we might be pending the full results to find how successful it was!
I believe Saudi Aramco acquiring 70% of SABIC has been the largest deal in the history of Saudi Arabia.
My understanding of the largest M&A deal in Saudi Arabia was the acquisition of 70% stake of Sabic by Saudi Aramco.
