During Oct 2021, I attended the IT Connect conference in LAs Vegas, NV. Including link to the European session during third week of November https://www.connectit.com. At the conference a special day long session in MSP M&A was covered.

“A managed service provider (MSP) delivers services, such as network, application, infrastructure and security, via ongoing and regular support and active administration on customers’ premises, in their MSP’s data center (hosting), or in a third-party data center”

Due to the sophistication of cyber criminal activity, MSP M&A are beginning to become very active in an attempt for MSPs to combine technical expertise (e.g., cyber security against ransomware)

The MSP domain is expected to double in revenues by 2027 from 200 billion USD to nearly 500 billion USD.

Interested if anyone is active in this area, and has direct line of sight to emerging deals. An IPO is scheduled by Kaseya in early 2022
