How much do you think the opinions of the people who have the most knowledge of the daily operations, such as lower-level managers, are actually considered when assessing due diligence, synergies, etc. by the senior positions in making merger decisions?

Not considered at all. I beleive they get to know about the merger or the acquisition once it has already happened.

I don’t think it’s required. My perspective is that senior level team either hire industry experts who has those knowledge or they themselves are so acquainted with industry, business process, future growth, their own expertise in this area.
