After a merger or acquisition, what strategies have been proven effective in aligning the cultures of the acquiring and acquired companies to foster a sense of unity and collaboration among employees?

I live in Brazil and most part of the acquisition are only financial motivated and aligned, so it is really commom that after the merger there is a bit of caos in both sides.

    Hi Bruno,

Here are some things to consider:
    1) When conducting cultural assessments and understanding the existing cultures of both organizations, identify common strengths and differences that may cause friction.
    2) Develop a shared vision and core values. Aligning around a common purpose helps create unity and a sense of identity.
    3) Implement programs that facilitate interaction and understanding between employees from both companies. Cross-organizational teams, joint workshops, and mentorship initiatives can bridge cultural gaps.
