During the week of June 16 to June 22, the global mergers and acquisitions (M&A) market recorded 605 announced deals, representing a total deal value of USD 55.89 billion. Notably, 21 transactions each exceeded USD 500 million, contributing a combined USD 47.8 billion—equivalent to 86% of the week’s total deal value.

From June 9 to June 15, the mergers and acquisitions (M&A) market recorded 618 announced deals, with a total deal value of USD 38.98 billion. Of these, 16 transactions surpassed the USD 500 million threshold, collectively accounting for USD 30.44 billion, or approximately 78% of the week’s total deal value.

The mergers and acquisitions (M&A) landscape saw strong momentum in the first week of June, with a significant uptick in both deal volume and value. Between June 2 and June 8, a total of 815 transactions were announced, amounting to a combined value of USD 88.76 billion. Notably, 20 of these deals were each valued at over USD 500 million, contributing USD 78.65 billion—or 89%—of the total deal value for the week.

During the week of May 26 to June 1, the mergers and acquisitions (M&A) landscape recorded 550 announced deals, with a total disclosed value of USD 49.27 billion. Sixteen deals exceeded the USD 500 million mark, contributing a combined USD 39.35 billion—around 80% of the week’s total.
