Mark Pearson

Bio

Mark Pearson is President and Chief Executive Officer of Equitable Holdings (NYSE: EQH), which comprises Equitable, a leading financial services firm, and AllianceBernstein, a leading investment management and research firm. Under Mr. Pearson’s leadership, the organization is dedicated to helping the next generation prepare for retirement. Prior to his current role, Mr. Pearson served from 2008 to 2011 as the President and CEO of AXA Japan.

He joined AXA in 1995 with the acquisition of National Mutual Holdings and was appointed Regional Chief Executive of AXA Asia Life in 2001. Before joining AXA, Mr. Pearson spent 20 years in the insurance sector, assuming senior management positions at Hill Samuel, Schroders, National Mutual Holdings and Friends Provident.
