As we all know, all integrations are different. Sometimes we acquire larger companies with robust processes, sometimes we acquire smaller organizations without much governance structure. As a result, we have been working to develop a Fit-4-Purpose approach aimed at “right-sizing” our integration activities. The goal is to integrate without overwhelming the acquired organization or even worse, implement procedures that impact the acquired company’s ability function in a manner that resulted in the decision to acquire in the 1st place.
