I think this depends on the industry. For large restaurant chains that needed to shut down, I doubt many are in trouble. In fact, I have spoken with a few managers of restaurants who say that their business in terms operations have never been so in the BLACK. Basically, they kept selling lots of food via pick up and had little overhead. Also, many governments in North America gave these types of businesses that needed to shut down massive breaks in terms of interest free loans, tax exemptions. This COVID bubble is artificial and short lived.
