In my experience, the M&A process on the due diligence side has been done remotely without major difficulties. As number of operations reduced significantly during the pandemic, we also see that corporations have turned to advisors with strong digitalization capabilities to perform and coordinate international teams and assessments remotely. Of course all the advisory around post-merger integrations has suffered the most but I see a quick recovery right now.
