Serial acquirers develop a culture of M&A (looking for targets, doing transactions, integrating) being part of the daily business decisions and priorities. With this, standard processes are developed/maintained that makes it efficient to execute (and abandon) and integrate acquisitions. I think the serial acquirers have an advantage throughout the M&A process vs. companies not doing acquisitions very often, including knowing from previous successful acquisitions how to integrate.
