When I worked at a sell-side investment banking firm, I created pitchbooks. Basically, this is a written document form of a ‘pitch’ like a sales pitch and it is typically a confidential memorandum outlining a summary of a business for sale. It may include company history, product lines, detailed descriptions of facilities, perhaps photographs and financial statements. Recast financials and projections may be included.
