In Canada we are seeing more consolidations in the NPO sector largely due to increasing competition for donor money, view to optimize operations and efficiencies. While the motivations may be different; there is greater likelihood that there is alignment on purpose which may allow for better integration. Also people may also be used to partnering and collaborating with others.
