Andrew Campbell has been Director of the Ashridge Strategic Management Centre since it was formed in 1987. Before joining Ashridge, he was a Fellow of the Centre for Business Strategy at London Business School. Before that, he spent six years with McKinsey & Co in Los Angeles and London. Campbell is a world authority on corporate strategy with classic texts such as “Corporate Level Strategy” and “Strategy for the Corporate Level”. He is also an authority on organisation design being the person, along with Michael Goold, who developed “the nine tests of good organisation design”. Previously, Campbell developed and led three of Ashridge’s strategy programmes: Group Level Strategy, Strategic Decisions and Strategy & Finance. He has published ten articles in the Harvard Business Review as well as authored more than ten books based on his research, including his most recent book “Operating Model Canvas”. Campbell holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
